Anderlecht Lock
Quai de Aa, 1070 Anderlecht
VHF 20
General Information
The Anderlecht Lock is the first of the Brussels Region when coming from the south and the tenth from Charleroi on the Brussels-Charleroi canal, which explains its number 10. As in Molenbeek, its plateau is used as storage for spare parts such as lock gates, closing beams, etc.
The lock has another significant role to play in the sense that its staff is in charge of the control of the level of the Senne and the possible opening and closing of its overflow valves.
