River Information Services (RIS)
Since 2014, the Port of Brussels has been collaborating with the Flemish and Walloon regions in establishing the RIS (River Information Services), a project co-funded by the European Union – Connecting Europe Facility.
This project aims to increase the safety and efficiency of inland navigation in Europe, by harmonising the exchange of information between managers and users.
